According to Voi Indonesia, Sophia has been practicing yoga for over a decade. "Do what brings you peace," she captioned a video of herself in a variety of yoga poses. In another post, she revealed that she likes to go very slow. "I always, always move slow in my practices. For me personally, moving slow is far more effective than rushing and pumping. It trains my mind to stay in the present moment, and it also keeps me more aware of my each of my body parts and muscles," she wrote.

In an interview with The Jakarta Post, Sophia revealed that she had gone vegan. "I feel that I have better digestion — so much better. And have more energy," said Sophia. "I used to have acne, but not anymore. [I also feel that] I have more balanced hormones; no more PMS. I no longer feel bloated, suffer cramps or headaches. All is well and [my menstruation] cycle is regular."

Sophia also enjoys going for bike rides. "I come alive in autumn," she captioned an Instagram video of a scenic bike ride. Biking is not only great for your mental health, but as a low-impact aerobic exercise, helps build muscle, improves strength and flexibility, and improves balance.

Sophia also enjoys the health benefits of coffee. "After a great hard work, you deserve a great cup of coffee…" she captioned a recent post. Why is drinking coffee beneficial? A new 2022 study published in European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death.

As an adult, Sophia still takes swimming lessons. "Although can swim from 5 years old, it turns out that there is still a need for a coach to be more effective. Thank you @rarasaraswati for coaching me a bit today," she captioned a post. Swimming is a very effective aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
