WATCH: DNCE drop video for 'Cake By The Ocean'

American pop group DNCE have dropped the video for their debut single ‘Cake By The Ocean’.

The four piece group fronted by former Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas, revealed the fun video yesterday.

The fun clip sees DNCE performing on the beach while a cake eating contest is taking place.

The new video is directed by Joe’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

Speaking to justjared about the video concept Joe said:

“We were thinking of ideas and turned around and said, Why not put a massive cake on the beach?, It came together really quickly and we’re really excited about it because it’s just something that I think is wacky and fun.”

Joe also said this about working with his long term girlfriend: “She’s always had a high creative eye so she came up with concept and we rolled with it. She was a good boss.”
